United Mercantile Company (UMC) has specialized in the recovery of commercial debt since 1911. Our corporate objective is to provide flexible, personalized service and outstanding collection results at a reasonable cost. We work closely with our clients to develop partnerships to help them manage their receivables. We listen to their needs and make suggestions aimed at reducing days outstanding while maximizing our percentage of recovery.

UMC is a founding member of the Commercial Collection Agency Association. The CCAA mandates operating standards that must be met to maintain our membership. UMC is bonded and insured in excess of their requirements. We are also members of the International Association of Commercial Collectors, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, and the Better Business Bureau. We maintain an independently verified trust account.
